Application
Safe to use thickener and binder for agriculture seed coatings, fertilizers, and pesticides. Roquette cellulosic products such as METHOCEL™ are fitting binders and thickeners for agricultural products. They suspend pesticides or fertilizers in water-based sprays to help for sufficient distribution on the foliage or seeds.
Additionally, they are effective film formers for seed coatings. As METHOCEL™ is chemically inert and nonionic, it is highly compatible with a variety of active ingredients. An emerging trend in fertilizer delivery is the use of water-soluble bags. POLYOX™ water-soluble resins are ideal for this type of packaging. POLYOX™ is also an extremely effective drift control agent.
