Sizing agent to keep ink from leeching into the fabric and improve wet-tack properties in adhesives. Sizing agents are essential in commercial textile production. METHOCEL™ is used as a sizing agent to protect fibers from breakage and fraying during manufacturing. Additionally, METHOCEL™ helps reduce friction which facilitates equipment to be run at faster speeds, thereby increasing yield. METHOCEL™ are also used in related products such as textile inks as well as temporary fabric positioning adhesives. These products help keep ink from leeching into the fabric and improve the wet-tack properties in adhesives.
