Product Overview

Lattice® NT-200 is a binder-grade microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) powder with a 200 µm average particle size. It is a bio-based polymer produced by the acid hydrolysis of wood pulp. Lattice® NT-200 is ideal for direct compression and dry granulation tableting processes where it serves as an excellent dry binder. When used in tableting, the recommended use range by weight of the final product is 20%–50%. Lattice® NT-200 may also be used as a process aid in wet granulation processes to control granule particle size.

Lattice® NT-200 also has disintegrant properties, is nontoxic, and is EPA exempt. This makes it useful as an adjuvant in agricultural chemical formulations, including wettable powders, water-dispersible granules, and extrudates. In this application, the recommended range by weight is 5%–50%. Lattice® NT-200 microcrystalline cellulose is only approved for industrial, nonfood, and nonpharmaceutical use.
