TEXTURECEL™ 1000 G is sodium carboxymethylcellulose polymer. It is similar to TEXTURECEL™ 1000 GA except for slightly lower active content.
TEXTURECEL™ 1000 G is a technical grade for industrial applications supplied in granular form. It can be used in ceramics, textiles, paper, and pulp applications as a thickener, rheology modifier, and film former.
Ceramics: TEXTURECEL™ 1000 G provides green strength and plasticity in ceramic applications such as glazes and tiles. It offers improved cracking resistance for ceramics during the production process, especially when high purity is not required.
Cleaning Solutions: TEXTURECEL™ 1000 G can be used as thickeners in multi-purpose detergents, bathroom cleaners, and scale removal products.
Gel Packs and Absorbents: TEXTURECEL™ 1000 G is used in absorbent pads, gel, and cold packs for its non-toxic profile and high gel formation.
Paper: TEXTURECEL™ 1000 G is used as a paper coating to provide oil resistance to food-contact packaging paper.
