POLYOX™ WSR 1105

POLYOX™ WSR 1105 can be used to function as a thickener, binder, film former, lubricant, and water retention aid in formulations. It can be used for a variety of applications and it is most commonly used in electronics, lubricants, paper, cleaners, and mining for its high viscosity and flocculation properties.

• Cleaning Solutions: POLYOX™ WSR 1105 is used as a thickener and rheology modifier in household and institutional cleaner. It also provides emollient properties to cleaning consumer products.

• Electronics: POLYOX™ WSR 1105 is a perfect binder for fluorescent lighting, battery electrodes, energy storage devices, cable lubricants, and optical fibers.

• Lubricants: POLYOX™ WSR 1105 is used to improve lubricity and rheology many lubricant formulations. It is also utilized as a drag reduction agent for piping and wiring applications.

• Pulp and Paper: POLYOX™ WSR 1105 provides excellent functionality as a retention aid and drainage agent in tissue and paper applications. It can be used alone or combined with other polymers such as polyacrylamides.

• Water Treatment and Mining: POLYOX™ WSR 1105 is a high-efficiency flocculant for clay, silica, oxidized coal fines and heavy metal. It also used for dust suppression and to improve dewatering efficiency for clear water separation.
