Product Overview

POLYOX™ WSR N80 is a water-soluble resin. It is based on a long chain nonionic polyethylene oxide polymer. The product has a molecular weight of 200,000 with a low viscosity of 65 to 115 cP.

Applications

POLYOX™ WSR N80 can be agriculture coatings, tapes, cleaning products electronics and batteries. It is used as a thickener and binder. It also improves several formulation properties such as lubrication, drift, and water retention.

  • Agriculture: POLYOX™ WSR N80 can be used to provide drift control and application properties to adjuvants and crop protection products. It is also used in seed coatings and tapes to improve viscosity, rheology and water retention.

  • Cleaning Solutions: POLYOX™ WSR N80 is an effective thickener that can be used in different types of cleaners and detergents. It provides rheology to the water-based formulation and emollient properties in consumer cleaning products.

  • Electronics: POLYOX™ WSR N80 is used in electronic for its binding properties. It is most commonly utilized in fluorescent lighting, battery electrodes, energy storage devices, cable lubricants, and optical fibers.
