POLYOX™ WSR 303

POLYOX™ WSR 303 is a high molecular weight thickener and binder. It also works as a film former, lubricant, and retention aid. It can be used in ceramics, electronics, lubricants, drilling fluids, and building materials.

• Papermaking: POLYOX™ WSR 303 is an excellent retention aid for papermaking. It will dramitically increase first pass retention and retention of fillers like clay and titanium dioxide by adding as little as 0.5 lb of polymer per ton of paper produced.  POLYOX™ WSR 303 is also effective at removing pitch from wastewater when added at 5-10 ppm.

• Ceramics: POLYOX™ WSR 303 functions as a binder, film former and lubricant for the manufacturing of ceramic parts, bricks, fibers. It is also used as a processing aid and a lubricant in ceramic extrusion applications.

• Building and Construction: POLYOX™ WSR 303 is commonly used in cement, mortars, and concrete. It provides improved workability, pumpability, and lubricity in high solid applications.

• Electronics: POLYOX™ WSR 303 can be used as a binder in a variety of electronics applications such as fluorescent lighting, battery electrodes, energy storage devices, cable lubricants, and optical fibers.

• Lubricants: POLYOX™ WSR 303 can be used in lubricants used for piping and wiring applications. It improves lubricity and works as a dragging agent in lubricant formulations.
