TEXTURECEL™ 2000 PA is an anionic water-soluble cellulosic polymer. It is based on a powder form sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and it provides a low viscosity of 2,000 cP and provides clear solution when dissolved. The product can be used as a binder, thickener, gelling agent, stabilizer, emulsifier, crystallization inhibitor, protective colloid in a variety of applications.

Applications

TEXTURECEL™ 2000 PA can be used in many industrial applications such as adhesives, batteries, printing inks, and extrusion processes.

  • Adhesives: TEXTURECEL™ 2000 PA provides control over viscosity and rheology of formulations. It also improves the binders' migration and stability of adhesives.

  • Electronics and Batteries: TEXTURECEL™ 2000 PA provides optimum viscosity, suspension, and binding of the actives and conducting additives in lithium-ion batteries. It also provides fast drying speed and low drying temperature which increases productivity and saves energy. It can be combined with SBR for better adhesion when coating graphite on copper.

  • Coatings and Inks: TEXTURECEL™ 2000 PA is an economical natural thickener for water-based formulations. It provides superior thickening and rheology to coatings and inks formulations.
