ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 Industrial

ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 Industrial is used as a binder, thickener, and rheology modifier. It also can act as a film former, and water barrier in many applications as detailed below:

• Adhesives: ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 is used in adhesives to provide strength, viscosity, and rheology to solvent-based formulations. It is also commonly used in hot melts for its excellent thermoplasticity. It can be easily added to the formulation by dissolving in hot polymers, plasticizers, or oils.

• Ceramics: ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 provides green strength and clean burn out in many ceramic applications. It is highly preferred in multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) and other high-end electronic ceramic applications for its high purity. It can be utilized as a binder and rheology modifier.

• Conductive Pastes: ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 is used in conductive pastes and inks as a binder and rheology modifier. It stabilizes metal pigments and burns out cleanly.

• Printing Inks: ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 is used as a rheology modifier, dispersant, and a binder. It is used in a wide range of solvent-based inks for its organosolubility and high compatibility with plasticizers. It helps the formation of tough and high resistance films in gravure, flexographic and screen printing ink

• Specialty Coatings: ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 can be used in coating applications such as used in paper, fluorescent lighting, roofing, enameling, lacquers, varnishes, and marine coatings. It provides waterproofing, toughness, flexibility and high gloss finishes.

• Other Applications: ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 can also be used in cleaners, flexible packaging, lubricants, and any other solvent-based systems.
