ETHOCEL™ Standard 45 Industrial is a multi-functional resin that can be used as a binder, thickener or water barrier in a wide range of systems as detailed below:
Ceramics: ETHOCEL™ Standard 45 provides green strength and viscosity to ceramics. ETHOCEL™ grades are highly preferred in electronic ceramics such as photovoltaics and multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCC). They function as a high purity binder that burns out without a residue.
Conductive Pastes: ETHOCEL™ Standard 45 is used as a stabilizer and binder in conductive pastes and inks.
Coatings: ETHOCEL™ Standard 45 exhibits excellent properties in solvent-based coating systems. It provides waterproofing, toughness, and flexibility with a wide range of temperature stability.
Other Applications: ETHOCEL™ Standard 45 is also used in cleaners, printing inks, plasma display panels, photovoltaics, flexible packaging, lubricants, and any other solvent-based systems.
