WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is a high purity grade with similar properties as WALOCEL™ CRT 100 G. It provides a low viscosity of 100 cP. It can be used as a thickener, binder, and stabilizer in a variety of applications.
WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA can be utilized in adhesives, agriculture, ceramics, cleaners, coatings, electronics, paper, and textile applications.
Adhesives: WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is commonly used in adhesives to control viscosity and rheology of formulations. It also provides control over the binders migration and general stability of adhesives.
Ceramics: WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is recommended for ceramic glazes application for its improved binding properties. It is also used in ceramic tiles to improve plasticity and crack resistance. WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is also used in clay bodies to improve green strength and plasticity.
Cleaning Solutions: WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is commonly used in household and industrial cleaners. It provides thickening and rheology to a variety of cleaners and detergents.
Coatings and Inks: WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is commonly used in water-based formulations to provide superior thickening and rheology. It is an economical alternative to synthetic polymers for paints and coatings when natural thickeners are preferred.
Electronics and Batteries: WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is used in lithium-ion batteries as an anode binder. It also provides optimum viscosity, suspension, and binding of the actives and conducting additives. It provides improved adhesion to the current collectors.
Paper: WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA can be used in paper coatings. It improves water retention, reduces binders migration and provides superior printing capabilities. It is used in specialty paper as a coating to provide oil resistance to food-contact packaging paper.
Textiles: WALOCEL™ CRT 100 GA is used as a rheology modifier and film former for textile fibers. Its main function is to coat or cover the fibers with a CMC film before weaving which would be removed after washing.
