Product Overview

TEXTURECEL™ 60000 PPA 07 is the highest viscosity of all TEXTURECEL™ grades. It comes in a fine  powder form which enables mixing with solids before water addition. It yields a viscosity of 60,000 cP at low level of use.

Applications

TEXTURECEL™ 60000 PPA 07 can be utilized in ceramics, coatings, cleaners, gel packs and paper applications. It is utilized when powder form and faster water dissolution are required.

  • Ceramics: TEXTURECEL™ 60000 PPA 07 provides improved binding, thickening, stability, and gloss in a variety of ceramic applications such as tiles and glazes. It also improves plasticity and cracking resistance.

  • Gel Packs and Absorbents: TEXTURECEL™ 60000 PPA 07 is used in ice and gel packs as a water-absorbent that gels easily and compatible with most hydrocolloids.

  • Paper: TEXTURECEL™ 60000 PPA 07 is used in some specialty paper applications to provide oil resistance when applied as a coating to food-contact packaging.

  • TEXTURECEL™ 60000 PPA 07 is also used in cleaning solutions, detergents, coatings and inks as a thickener and rheology control additive.
