Product Overview

METHOCEL™ 228 is a low viscosity HPMC thickener with slightly delayed solubility. This grade yields a viscosity of 3800 cP at low addition levels and is a good fit construction applications such as cement, gypsum and block adhesives. It imparts good workability and excellent crack resistance, and reduces lump formation while enhancing water retention.
