METHOCEL™ K100LV is a water-soluble cellulose ether polymer. It is a low substitution Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC). The product provides a low viscosity of 100 cP at low addition levels.

Applications

METHOCEL™ K100LV provides high substitution and low viscosity which makes it perfect for agriculture, coatings, and ceramic applications.

  • Agriculture: METHOCEL™ K100LV provides for improved drift control, suspension, and surface modification in adjuvants, fertilizers, and crop protection applications. It is also used in seed coatings and spray adherents for better binding to seeds.

  • Ceramics: METHOCEL™ K100LV provides improved binding, controlled thickening, and excellent rheology control in ceramics, extrusion, and casting. It also provides lubricity, smoother surfaces, and prevents sag or deformation.

  • Coatings and Inks: METHOCEL™ K100LV provides improves surface properties to paints and coatings. It also improves workability, stability, and suspension for coatings and inks.
