METHOCEL™ J75MS is a water-soluble cellulose ether polymer. It is a surface-treated Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) with a very high substitution level. The product provides a delayed viscosity build-up ranges from 60,000 to 75,000 cPs at low addition levels.

Applications

METHOCEL™ J75MS provides delayed and high viscosity build-up for industrial and consumer formulations. It is commonly used in agriculture, cleaning solutions, coatings, and printing inks.

  • Agriculture: METHOCEL™ J75MS can be used in adjuvants and crop protection products for improved drift control and surface modification. It works as a dispersing and suspension aid in pesticides and fertilizers. It also used as a binder in seed coatings.

  • Cleaning Solutions: METHOCEL™ J75MS is commonly used in household and industrial cleaners. It provides improved thickening, binding, and rheology to cleaners and detergents.

  • Coatings and Inks: METHOCEL™ J75MS provides a high-efficiency thickening and film formation in coatings and inks. It also improves workability stability, and water retention in water and solvent-based systems.
