METHOCEL™ J12MS is a water-soluble cellulose ether polymer. It is a surface-treated Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) with one of the highest substitution levels of Methocel™ grades. The product provides delayed viscosity build up to 12,000 cPs.

METHOCEL™ J12MS provides delayed viscosity building which makes it perfect for agriculture, cleaning solutions, coatings, and printing inks.

  • Agriculture: METHOCEL™ J12M can be used in crop protection for drift control, stabilization, rheology modification. It works as a suspension aid in wettable pesticides and powder fertilizers. It can be also used in seed coatings and spray adherents for better binding to seeds. 

  • Cleaning Solutions: METHOCEL™ J12M is widely used in household and industrial cleaners. It provides high-efficiency thickening and rheology for detergents and cleaning formulations.

  • Coatings and Inks: METHOCEL™ J12MS provides outstanding thickening and film properties. It also improves workability stability, and water retention for a variety coatings and inks.
