METHOCEL™ E4M Premium is a premium quality, water-soluble cellulose ether polymer. It is based on non-ionic Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) and provides viscosity of 4,000 cP at low addition levels.

METHOCEL™ E4M Premium is a high-quality grade that offers a moderate viscosity for improved rheology, film formation and water retention properties.

  • Agriculture: METHOCEL™ E4M Premium provides drift control, stabilization, rheology modification. It aslo works as a dispersing aid in wettable pesticides and fertilizers. 

  • Coatings and Inks: METHOCEL™ E4M Premium acts a surface modifier, protective colloid, and pigment suspension in coatings and inks. It provides outstanding film properties such as high tensile, strength, and elongation. It also improves workability and water retention for construction coatings.

  • METHOCEL™ E4M Premium is also used in batteries, display panels and multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) for its binding properties.

METHOCEL™ cellulose ethers include methylcellulose (MC) or hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) polymers with solubilities ranging from water-soluble to organosoluble.
